FC Twente midfielder Oriol Busquets admits he sees his future with parent club Barcelona.
Busquets has done well in Holland, although he’s played a central defender more than a midfielder, and now he wants the chance to prove his worth to Barça coach Quique Setien.
“My dream is to return to Barça and do preseason with the first time,” he told SER Catalunya. “Or whatever I have to do and demonstrate that I can go back. My desire is to stay with the first team.
The youngster wants to show that he’s worth a spot “in the first team” and he doesn’t mind where he plays on the pitch: “If it’s to play for Barça, I don’t mind if it’s in the middle or at the back.”
Busquets, 21, has played 23 games in the Netherlands, 21 in the league and two in the cup.
