LaLiga president Javier Tebas has urged teams to prepare their players to return to training.
In a video conference, the LaLiga president discussed a return date for the season after UEFA announced that they were postponing Euro 2020 by a year to make room for the completion of domestic leagues.
Tebas asked the clubs to return to training as soon as possible in order to be ready for a restart when it happens.
In the conference, Tebas reassured the clubs that their safety is being respected and that matches wouldn’t be played while Spain was in a state of emergency.
LaLiga’s most optimistic plan is to return to action on April 23, but the first weekend of May is more realistic.
