As the old adage goes: “You can please some of the people all of the time, you can please all of the people some of the time, but you can’t please all of the people all of the time.”
Basking in the glory of their sixth Bundesliga title in succession Bayern Munich grasped the opportunity to show off their new kit for the 2018-19 season in their final league game of the season against Stuttgart on Saturday.
However, not only did the champions suffer an embarrassing 4-1 home defeat in the 100th Southern Derby — their heaviest loss of the season — to add insult to injury, their brand spanking new kit didn’t meet with universal approval with the club’s fans.

Bayern’s ultras were not amused by the blue shorts and matching trim on the sleeves of the jersey, unveiling their own discontent over the club’s new offering with a huge banner that read: “Our colours are red and white what’s this blue —?”
