Barcelona director Pau Vilanova won’t rule out a move for Inter Milan striker Lautaro Martinez.
The Argentina international has been recommended to Barca’s board by club captain Lionel Messi, with his contract carrying a €111m buyout clause. It’s been suggested the Blaugrana could move for Martinez as an eventual successor for Luis Suarez.
Vilanova said, “Lautaro Martinez? This is a subject for technical managers. You journalists are fueling the rumours. It is the football team’s leaders who will speak about this situation.
“Lautaro is a great player, we saw his qualities during our double confrontation in the Champions League.”
