Ousmane Dembele has suffered a heavy blow at Barcelona – with his hamstring injury ruling him out for ten weeks.
Dembele looked distraught as he had to come off with an injury during Wednesday’s match against Borussia Dortmund and tests have confirmed that the injury is a serious one.
He won’t be expected back until mid-February.
“A medical examination has confirmed that first-team player Ousmane Dembele has suffered a muscle injury to his right hamstring,” a statement from the Catalan club said.
“His estimated layoff time is approximately 10 weeks.”
