Juve sports chief Fabio Paratici was in Barcelona earlier this week for talks over a series transfer issues.
Tuttosport says negotiations have progressed over a swap involving Emre Can and Barca ace Ivan Rakitic.
Paratici has offered Can in part-exchange for the Croatia international and talks are moving positively.
Both players are no longer required players at their respective clubs.
