England are looking to earn their second consecutive bronze medal at the World Cup, after beating Germany in extra-time to finish third in 2015. They missed out on a place in the final after a 2-1 loss to the United States; a game which saw them have a goal disallowed for offside and have a penalty saved. Sweden, on the other hand, took Netherlands to extra-time in their semi-final but were beaten 1-0 by Lieke Martens’ goal.
