Former Barcelona president Joan Laporta says they should snub Atletico Madrid attacker Antoine Griezmann.
Griezmann has announced he will leave Atletico this summer – with Barca favourites to land him.
“I think that most of the fans don’t want him and also, because of his price tag, which I think is exaggerated,” said Laporta, referring to Griezmann’s rejection last year.
“I think there are other players with a great impact that could perfectly do what Griezmann can do at Barcelona.
“If he comes we, all the Catalans will be the first to encourage him, as has happened with all the players who have come.”
