Barcelona coach Xavi praised his young players after their win at Sevilla.
Victory at Sevilla on Sunday marked Xavi’s final game in charge of Barca.
On goalscorer Fermin Lopez, he said: “He is a special case because he was not on the Barcelona map, we rescued him from the loan. Almost no one knew him. But we liked him, we saw things in him and he had self-confidence and could contribute something to us.
“He has made the difference. He is a player of level. The relationship with the players is wonderful. I am satisfied.”
Xavi also said: “It is a very good generation, Cubarsí, Lamine, Héctor Fort… but the legacy is the affection of the players. The objective was to help them. We have suffered. We have won two titles… they are decisions that one does not control and that only you can accept. Barça is in a difficult situation. We have excited the culés and we have enjoyed it.”
