Barcelona president Joan Laporta is ready to sack Xavi at the end of the season.
Since reversing his resignation decision, Xavi has seen Barca’s season collapse, sparking fresh doubts about his future.
COPE journalist Helena Condis Edo is reporting that people close to Laporta are urging him to sack Xavi.
Now, among others, Sport and RAC1 state that Barcelona have decided to part ways with the coach this summer.
Laporta is said to have instructed sporting director Deco to find a replacement for Xavi for next season.
Before Xavi decided to continue, the likes of Hans-Dieter Flick, Roberto De Zerbi and Thomas Tuchel were being considered.
AS now reports Deco is considering Porto‘s coach Sérgio Conceição, Barca Atleti’s Rafael Marquez and Hans-Dieter Flick.
