The agent of Vitor Roque has cast doubt on his future with Barcelona.
Roque, 19, signed from Athlético Paranaense last summer, but he only joined after the turn of the year.
The Brazilian attacking talent has a Barca contract until the summer of 2031.
The 19-year-old has received limited playing time since the move to Cataluyna. There have been two goals in eleven competitive matches, including one from the start.
Lately, there has been speculation that Barcelona could loan Roque out next season. But the player’s agent André Cury dismisses those reports.
“Vitor is very happy at Barça and there is no chance of a loan,” he tells Què T’hi Jugues. “He is very well, physically and mentally, and he is waiting for more minutes to prove it on the pitch. Xavi loves him very much.”
The agent emphasised that there is plenty of interest, should the situation change.
“The truth is that there is a queue of clubs that are ready to pay 50 million euros already now for Vitor Roque,” says Cury.
“Vitor will not go anywhere even if he were to be loaned out. He is determined to succeed at Barça.”
