Barcelona coach Xavi was delighted with their 3-0 win at Atletico Madrid on Sunday.
Joao Felix, Fermin Lopez and Robert Lewandowski struck for the visitors.
Xavi said: “It was the most complete match. In some phases, we were brilliant. It was similar to Napoli. We understood it very well. It is an ideal match for our methodology and game philosophy.
“Everything we worked on went perfectly. Lewandowski has been very active, and Fermín, Joao… It was difficult to progress and find a third man. Robert has perhaps played the best game since he has been at Barça. It is a time to dream. I am happy and satisfied.
“All the players want to give their best version. They have been brilliant. They have all played a great game, individually and as a team. We have done things excellently. It is time to dream. We are better in defense.
“We don’t lose as many balls. “We are very solvent, more supportive. They interpret the guidelines very well. We are in the best moment of the season, it is time to dream.”
On Joao Felix, he said: “He played a very good game, also without the ball. He made a difference for us. He was extra motivated. I’m happy for him.”
On Ilkay Gundogan‘s performance, he added: “The idea was to put him in the square, as a playmaker on the right, but Andreas (Christensen) has had discomfort in his Achilles and we have chosen Fermín to attack in the spaces. Gündo sees the spaces well. We have been effective in attack and defense
“They have generated very little. It is an almost ideal or perfect match.”
