Holland coach Ronald Koeman admits he didn’t enjoy his time in charge of Barcelona.
Koeman was reacting to Xavi’s resignation last week.
He told : “It’s much more fun to be a Barcelona player than a coach and Xavi, as a Catalan and son of the club, he will surely have noticed it.
“It was the most difficult I have ever done. I suffered from pressure and stress.”
On Xavi, he said: “He had only been to Qatar and then was catapulted to Barcelona. He wasn’t used to criticism, he had only received praise.”
Koeman also stated the press “points a gun at you. If things don’t go well it’s the coach’s fault. I too suffered the same stress and pressure.”
