Barcelona coach Xavi is confident they’re in good shape for today’s clash with Real Betis.
Barca meet Betis on the back of their Copa del Rey win against Unionistas.
“We’ve given a lot away defensively. We concede too many goals and we’ve been ineffective in attack. We lose a lot of balls and don’t stop many counterattacks,” said Xavi.
“We accept the demands placed on us, but there is a lack of positivity. The other day (vs. Unionistas) we had 13 players who have come through the youth system.
“We’re building, and we will fight, and we will try. Failure would be not trying.”
On Vitor Roque, he added: “He had a little injury, but now he’s 100%. It’s up to me to decide if he plays.
“He got minutes against Unionistas and he’s player who can offer us things in attack.”
