Chelsea have made a move for Barcelona defender Pau Cubarsi.
Just 16, Cubarsi has featured for Rafa Marquez’s Barca Atletic team this season.
Sport says Chelsea are in contact with Cubarsi’s minders with Barca having kicked off talks about a new deal.
Mika Faye, a defensive teammate of Cubarsi’s, is also attracting major interest from England. One unnamed Champions League club have made an attempt before the January market.
However, Barca are determined not to consider offers for the Senegalese teen.
