Barcelona president Joan Laporta is confident they will turn their season around in 2024.
Barca have hit a form slump ahead of the winter recess.
But Laporta says: “In football, the Super Cup we hope will once again be a turning point, because last year it was, we had a great final and it consolidated the game and mood of the staff.
“This staff has absolute commitment, I verified it in Antwerp. The important thing is that these bad moments occur now and not in the important moments of the season.
“The players and coaches are key pieces for the club to function. We accept criticism, as long as it comes from objectivity and good practice typical of our profession. We accept it and we try to help us improve.
“With extremely critical journalism, I can say that we are self-critical of ourselves, and we are aware that complacency is the worst enemy of success. We also accept it, but we could try to do things to change from fierce criticism to more constructive criticism but we would make a thesis that would never end.”
