Barcelona president Joan Laporta has offered coach Xavi a vote of confidence.
Laporta threw his weight behind his coach at today’s Barca Christmas address.
He said, “Despite the sports disappointments that are also part of the world of sports, we will never give up while day after day we feel proud to represent the best club in the world.
“We will go out to compete in all four competitions; Super Cup, Cup, League and Champions League. I ask that we support, and today more than ever, and more than ever these days, our players and our coach to accompany them on the path of victory.
“Together we can do it.”
