Barcelona coach Xavi insists there’s no issue between Robert Lewandowski and Lamine Yamal.
Lewandowski was heavily criticised after victory over Alaves for turning on Yamal after the youngster failed to pass to him in a goalscoring area.
Xavi said today: “He needs the team and the team needs him. He makes the difference. He did it in the last game with a big headed goal. He is a leader, he is altruistic, very necessary.
“What happened to Lamine is normal. It happened to me, I remember fights with Puyol, Valdés, Villa, Leo … We don’t give it importance.
“Robert is very aware of Lamine is going to be a great footballer.”
