Athletic Bilbao attacker Nico Williams concedes transfer rumours are unsettling him.
The Spain international is off contract in June and interesting Real Madrid and Barcelona, along with Premier League clubs Aston Villa, Newcastle and Liverpool.
He told El Periodico de Espana: “If big teams like Barcelona, Real Madrid or English clubs look at me it means that I am doing my job well. I am clear about the decision I want to make, but in the end this is something that my agents know, who have been with me since I was 11.
“Then there are my parents, my brother… We’ll see, but I’m very calm and I want to stay that way.
“It won’t be just my decision, but everyone’s: family, friends, agents… It’s not just my question because in the end the family has a decisive and important role. I don’t like them the chatter or lies that generate fake news.
“People talk a lot and this makes me uncomfortable. Sooner or later we will know my future, this will leave us all calm. We don’t have a deadline, but we follow some guidelines that we have set for ourselves. I’m calm, I want my agents to follow these things.”
