Barcelona are watching Brighton winger Kaoru Mitoma this season.
Mundo Deportivo says the Japan international has been discussed amongst the coaching staff at La Masia and scouts have been watching him this term.
Barca feel they have a weakness on a left-side of midfield, where Mitoma primarily operates.
And should they sell Ansu Fati, ironically now on-loan with Brighton, a move for Mitoma will be considered.
Indeed, the Catalans rate the winger highly and fancy a move knowing his deal with Brighton runs to 2025.
