Barcelona chief Deco has his scouts watching Royal Antwerp midfielder Arthur Vermeeren.
Vermeeren impressed Deco when facing Barca in the Champions League last month. Indeed, Deco has asked Antwerp chief and former Barca star Marc Overmards about the youngster.
Deco’s scouts were in attendance for Antwerp’s clash with Shakhtar Donetsk on Wednesday.
Vermeeren, 18, is closing on a first cap with Belgium as he continues to impress for Antwerp at home and in Europe this season.
The midfielder has a deal with Antwerp to 2026.
