Sevilla coach Jose Luis Mendilibar told Xavi to stop yapping during Friday night’s defeat at Barcelona.
Sevilla lost 1-0 through a Sergio Ramos own goal.
And on Día Después, footage and audio of an exchange between Mendilibar and Xavi has been released.
“F… what you bark,” the Sevilla coach said to Xavi. The former midfielder denied the claims and Mendilibar then insisted. “If I say what you say, they’d have sent me off half an hour ago.”
“No, not me man. What are you saying, man?” Xavi replied. But Mendilibar stood firm.
“I’m telling you, I’m telling you yes,” he assured Xavi and, after this sentence, they both separated.
