Barcelona coach Xavi has again praised Ferran Torres for his current form.
Torres is currently playing the best football of his career.
Ahead of their Champions League opener tomorrow against Royal Antwerp, Xavi said: “Ferran needed to make a good preseason, he had a lot of faith in himself. I’m not surprised by his performance because I see him work.
“Sacrifice and work – he has always had it. He is an example. Ferran will be important. He already is.”
Xavi was also asked about new contract talks for Lamine Yamal and Alejandro Balde.
He added: “As far as I know they are on very good track and soon there will be news.”
