Barcelona midfielder Frenkie de Jong refused to blame Getafe‘s players after Sunday’s bitter draw.
Barca winger Raphinha and Getafe‘s Jaime Mata were both sent off, as was Blaugrana coach Xavi.
De Jong later said: “We have to do better but also the referees.
“LaLiga has to set a standard against all this. They give nine extra minutes which seems like a lot, but in the second half they lost 25 minutes. And it’s not Getafe‘s fault.
“They do their job. It’s a shame.”

The Dutchman also said:, “We are going for the Liga, as always. This has just started and there is a long way to go, although it is obvious that we have to improve.”
