Barcelona sell new stake in Barca Studios to register players

Barcelona have reached a new agreement to sell off more of Barca Studios.

In August of last year, the club sold two 24.5% stakes of their media company to Socios.com and Orpheus Media. However, Radio Cope reports both firms missed payments due in June.

Barca are now selling a 49 per cent share to Mexico’s Mountain Nazca for £155m.

The fresh cash injection will allow Barca to complete their transfer spending and register their players for the new LaLiga season.

Mas Que Pelotas reports all paperwork has been signed and is pending approval from LaLiga, who oversee all economic levers.
