Manchester United midfielder Casemiro says Lionel Messi “created an era”.
Despite his Real Madrid background, Casemiro has paid tribute to the Barcelona legend.
Messi has signed for Inter Miami after coming off contract at PSG last month.
“He created an era, this cannot be denied,” Casemiro told Sportitalia’s Alfredo Pedulla. “He has always been a special opponent when I played against Barça or against Argentina.
“Escape was impossible. Those who love football cannot help but love Messi. He is worthy of admiration.”
