Real Madrid have been named the most valuable club in the world ahead of Manchester United.
Forbes magazine reports Real Madrid have a value of $6.07bn ahead of United’s $6bn – this despite industry experts stating the Glazer family’s assessment of the club is wildly overstated.
Indeed, Forbes claims United’s value has jump by 30 per cent on last year.
Liverpool, Manchester City, Chelsea, Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal also make the top 10.
