Chelsea chairman Boehly and Real Madrid president Perez lunch in Madrid

Chelsea chairman Todd Boehly and Real Madrid president Florentino Perez lunched today ahead of tonight’s Champions League clash.

Real are hosting Chelsea in the first-leg of their quarterfinal tie.

The meeting took place at the Zalacaín restaurant, a location usually chosen by Real Madrid and which is located two kilometres from the Santiago Bernabeu.

Along with Boehly and Perez, five members from each club’s board were also part of the luncheon.

Waiting reporters, meanwhile, pushed the Chelsea delegation for a word on reports of meeting with agents for Barcelona midfielder Gavi this week, but they refused to comment.
