Holland coach Ronald Koeman has warned Barcelona their image is being hurt by the Negreira case.
The former Barca captain and coach says the scandal is now reaching football fans around the world.
Koeman said, “It greatly affects the image of the club.
“I notice in the Netherlands that people now think differently. Barça has lost image. It doesn’t help. I can’t comment more because I don’t know what happened.
“I have seen that UEFA wants to know what has happened and you never know, but hopefully there is no penalty.”
On his bitter relationship with Barca president Joan Laporta, he added: “We don’t have to talk about the past either. The club will have its thoughts in that sense. I have already said what I think, we must look to the future. Barça continues and I continue with my life. The damage wears off over time.”
