The agent of Fiorentina midfielder Sofyan Amrabat admits a summer move is likely.
It’s been revealed Manchester United made a late attempt for the Morocco World Cup hero in January, while Barcelona and Liverpool also asked Fiorentina about a price. However, the Viola insisted Amrabat would not be sold in midseason.
Now agent Mohammed Sinouh says he believes that a transfer could happen this summer.
“We received more than one offer during the winter window. Including one from Manchester United, but the negotiation was not completed. The president of Fiorentina (Rocco Commisso) refused to let him leave at that moment. He represented a value to the team, especially after what he did in the World Cup,” he told Kora Plus.
“The future? Right now we have no offers for the summer. But Fiorentina will listen to the bids. It’s a promise we got from the president after he rejected bids during the winter transfer market.”
