Barcelona vice-president Rafa Yuste cannot guarantee Ansu Fati will be around next season.
The attacker’s agent, Jorge Mendes, has offered the youngster to Manchester United, Chelsea and Arsenal over the past fortnight. Father Bori, meanwhile, has declared he wants Ansu to leave over the lack of minutes he’s seen this season.
Yuste said, “You ask me a question… I cannot guarantee 100% anything because it does not depend on me. There is a coach, a technical secretary, a football director …they give the board of directors their message, their vision. What I can tell you is that today the coach counts 100% on him.”
Regarding the words of Ansu’s father, Bori, Yuste commented: “As a father sometimes you get carried away by emotion, you think of your son and nothing else. It doesn’t go any further, so I understand it perfectly.
“Ansu is totally focused and involved in the project and he has a crazy desire to succeed here. He is giving everything to get the minutes that I have always told his father and him that he is going to have.”
