Manchester United have entered talks with Wolves midfielder Ruben Neves, it has been revealed.
Sport says Neves is ‘already negotiating’ a summer move to Old Trafford with Barcelona withdrawing from the race.
United are expected to sign a ball-playing central midfielder come summer, with manager Erik ten Hag originally keen on Frenkie de Jong but potentially forced to look elsewhere.
Reports have linked United with a move for Neves, who is currently on international duty with Portugal alongside Bruno Fernandes, and the most recent report suggests a deal is already in the making.
Wolves rate their club captain at around £25-35m.
