Ansu Fati‘s father was at Barcelona HQ on Monday.
El Golazo de Gol reports the meeting took place between 1-2pm at the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper in Sant Joan Despí. Barca chiefs Mateu Alemany and Jordi Cruyff were present.
The summit was held amid talk of Fati’s agent Jorge Mendes touting the youngster to clubs in England. It’s been suggested Manchester United, Arsenal and Liverpool have all been approached by Mendes about taking on the winger this summer.
While he has a deal to 2027, selling Fati hasn’t been ruled out with Barca needing to sell players to balance the books and comply to LaLiga’s financial cap.
Everything is up in the air as while Barca rate the youngster highly, his wages are a problem. For Fati, he has been frustrated over his lack of playing opportunities this season.
