Barcelona striker Robert Lewandowski is out of the Copa del Rey semifinal against Real Madrid.
The Catalans have announced the Pole is out with a hamstring strain in his left thigh. Lewandowski picked up the injury in yesterday’s bitter defeat against UD Almería (0-1) away from home.
The exact downtime depends on the course of recovery, according to Barça.
Lewandowski joins the injured Ousmane Dembélé and Pedri, both of whom will not be available until mid-March.
In the semifinals of the Copa del Rey, the Blaugrana meet Real on Thursday (9 p.m.). Lewandowski could be fit again for the return leg on April 5.
