Barcelona midfielder Frenkie de Jong has been able to joke about his clash with Holland teammate Wout Weghorst this week.
Weghorst was played in midfield for Manchester United for the 2-2 Champions League draw.
De Jong said, “He just said it when we were in the tunnel just before the game: ‘I’m in midfield and I’m going to get in your way, haha!’
“He did a good job, although I was with Fred most of the time. But okay, fine.
“I actually didn’t expect him to be with me, because normally he is of course up in attack. This time he was next to me.”
