Manchester United remain interested in Atletico Madrid striker Antoine Griezmann.
Griezmann signed permanently for Atletico before Christmas after succeeding on-loan from Barcelona.
Sky Sports says United were among clubs interested in Griezmann this past summer.
United tried to set up a meeting with Griezmann’s representatives when the club’s delegates were in Madrid to close the deal with Real Madrid for Casemiro.
Griezmann’s response to the United camp was that he was flattered by the interest, but at the same time had the intention to continue with Atletico.
United are still interested in Griezmann, 31, who could be open to leaving Atletico if coach Diego Simeone steps down after this season.
Griezmann’s contract with Atletico runs until the summer of 2026.
