Real Madrid midfielder Rodrygo: Facing Barcelona always difficult

Real Madrid midfielder Rodrygo Goes says they face Barcelona in the Supercopa de Espana final full of confidence.

They will face Barcelona on Sunday in Riyadh.

“We’re happy to be playing in another Spanish Super Cup final. We’re looking forward to the game,” said Rodrygo.

“We have all the care we can get from the physios, the doctors and the physical trainers. We went through extra time the other day, but we are still very well physically. We feel rested and we’re fine. We’ve trained today, we’re going to train tomorrow and then comes the match. We hope to be on form and win another title.”

“It’s always a very difficult game. We have to study them in depth and be very focused at all times and take advantage of the spaces. We also have to be ready for anything that can happen in the game and go out to win.”

On defending their Supercopa title, Rodrygo added: “Last year was a springboard for us; winning it gave us a lot of confidence to continue throughout the season. We hope to repeat that by winning this title and continue to do very well for the rest of the season.”
