Manchester City star Bernardo Silva is unlikely to move to Barcelona anytime soon.
The Catalan giants were very keen on Bernardo in the summer, making several attempts to secure him from City.
However, they have seemingly given up on his signature, due to City’s £70.8 million price tag.
Barcelona‘s president Joan Laporta gave an interview this week, where he outlined the club’s transfer plans for the January window.
Laporta told Spanish outlet Cadena Ser: “Bernardo Silva for €80million (£70.8million) will surely not come… because we will not pay them.”
Barcelona appear unlikely to make any major moves this month.
