Barcelona coach Xavi says Ronald Araujo will start in their Copa del Rey tie against InterCity.
The Uruguay defender hasn’t played since suffering a thigh injury which forced him to sidelines at the World Cup.
Xavi said: “He is one hundred percent and he is sure to help us because of his sacrifice and his leadership, he has a soul and he is a warrior.
“The idea is to rotate and give minutes to players who haven’t played for a long time, like Eric (Garcia) and Araujo.”
The coach added: “Gavi is okay, he had a blow to his calf, he couldn’t run and he asked for a change, but he’s pure passion and he’s available.”
