Barcelona striker Robert Lewndowski remains tightlipped on his chat with Lionel Messi during the World Cup.
During the game between Argentina and Poland in the World Cup, Lewandowski faced off with Lionel Messi.
At full time, the Polish striker headed off to meet the No 10 and they shared some words.
“I don’t want to say what we talked about but it was an agreeable chat,” Lewandowski told Sport.
“I think that these type of things you shouldn’t explain because they are private but it was very nice.”
The striker is Barcelona‘s line leader in Messi’s absence and he spoke about his predecessor’s World Cup triumph.
“It’s a dream come true for him,” said Lewandowski. “He has achieved everything in football, he’s the best player in the world. And now he’s enjoying it, I can imagine what it means for him and for the country. And how well he played! The world saw it.”
