Former Leeds United winger Raphinha is “baffling” people at Barcelona.
The Brazilian signed for a mega fee of £55 million, but is failing to show his best qualities at the Nou Camp stadium club.
Per AS, Barca are not sure how they can get the most out of Raphinha in manager Xavi Hernandez‘s system.
He has been dropped to the bench for their last four matches, since the 3-1 loss to Real Madrid in El Clasico nearly a month ago.
Coaches at Barca describe Raphinha as “unbeatable” in training, but then producing “absolutely nothing” during matches.
However, he was impressive off the bench in providing an assist for Robert Lewandowski to score the winner against Valencia in La Liga at the weekend.
