Barcelona defender Eric Garcia says he’s enjoying his football under coach Xavi.
The stopper has likened Xavi to his former Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola and Spain coach Luis Enrique.
He explained: “Xavi is a mixture of Guardiola and Luis Enrique. The idea of the game that all three have is practically identical.
“Each one has nuances, but it’s about pressing after losses and getting the ball out. It’s what has always characterised Barça.”
Garcia also spoke of his friendship with Ansu Fati.
He told Esport 3: “When he arrived at La Masia and his family was not there, he came to my house to spend the weekends. Now we spend the summers together and we trust each other a lot.
“Lately I see him with a lot of confidence, with a good rhythm and training very well. He will help us because he is a very talented player who has been hit hard by injuries.”
