Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola says Erling Haaland is not yet on the level of Lionel Messi.
Haaland has now scored three consecutive hat-tricks at home in the Premier League for the Citizens.
His latest triple came in a 6-3 home thrashing of bitter rivals Manchester United, where Phil Foden also scored three goals.
Asked about Haaland and Messi, Guardiola said post-game: “The difference is, maybe that Erling needs all his mates to do it.
“It is unbelievable.
“[But] Messi had the ability himself to do it.”
