Barcelona president Joan Laporta was eager to support the players after defeat at Bayern Munich on Tuesday night.
Sport says Laporta waited for them at the team bus to greet and recognise their effort. With Robert Lewandowski, after his return to Bayern, he spent a few seconds chatting and gave him a hug and some pats on the arm.
Polish striker Lewandowski, on his return to the Allianz, where he played for eight seasons, could not find the net despite having some good chances.
Along with Laporta, Rafa Yuste and Enric Masip were there and also spoke to Ousmane Dembele.
Barca coach Xavi also waited for his players on the way out of the stadium.
