Manchester City are insisting nothing has been agreed with Barcelona over the sale of Bernardo Silva.
Bernardo continues to be linked with Barca.
But the Daily Mail says City have rejected claims the midfielder will be sold to Barca.
While City manager Pep Guardiola has publicly stated that the Premier League champions will not stand in the way of unsettled players leaving the Etihad Stadium, there remain only three weeks left in the transfer window and City would need to secure a replacement.
Reports emanating from Barcelona yesterday suggested that the two clubs had come to an agreement on a fee, quoting £46million.
However, City management are insisting Bernardo cannot leave with so little time to find a replacement.
