Barcelona convinced they landed Raphinha for knockdown fee

Barcelona are convinced they landed Raphinha from Leeds for a knockdown fee.

Marca says the deal agreed between Leeds and Barcelona for the transfer of Raphinha was reported as being worth more than £50m upfront with the potential of add-ons. It was a lesser offer than the one tabled by Chelsea but the Brazilian’s desire to seal a dream switch to Catalonia won out.

However, according to the Spanish source, the signing is only worth around £41m upfront with the potential of £10m more in add-ons.

The report also states that a large chunk of the add-ons will only be activated in the case of Raphinha winning the Champions League at Barcelona.
