Barcelona are closing on a deal for Sevilla defender Jules Kounde.
The France international has seen a move to Chelsea stall as the Blues wrap up the signing of Napoli defender Kalidou Koulibaly.
As such, reports AS, Kounde is now closer to joining Barca.
A fresh 15 per cent of the club’s TV rights are about to be sold, which will raise over €330m. This is expected to see Barca complete the signing of Bayern Munich striker Robert Lewandowski and Kounde.
The defender is keen on the move, knowing he has the admiration of Barca coach Xavi.
