Sergi Barjuan has been axed as Barcelona B coach.
The Barca legend will retain a role within the club, but it was announced on Tuesday he would be leaving the B coaching position.
For the moment, his new role hasn’t been defined.
Sergi took charge last summer and also stood in for the first team before Xavi’s appointment after Ronald Koeman‘s sacking.
Rafa Marquez is in line to replace Sergi as Barca B coach. It will be the Mexican’s first senior coaching job.
