Robert Lewandowski‘s push to leave for Barcelona has upset Bayern Munich teammates.
The Athletic reports inside the Bavarian dressing room, Lewandowski’s public protests and desire to leave have not gone down well.
Players feel that so many public statements are not helping anyone, and the matter should be resolved behind closed doors.
They also want the issue to be resolved as soon as possible, with a return to pre-season training due on July 12.
The last authoritative voice within Bayern Munich to speak publicly on the matter was Oliver Kahn, the club’s general manager, who said that Lewandowski was expected to start pre-season with the rest of the team in three weeks’ time.
