Arsenal, Tottenham set to battle for Raphinha as Barcelona struggle and Chelsea withdraw

Arsenal and Tottenham are ready to battle for Leeds United winger Raphinha as Barcelona struggle to complete a deal for the Brazilian.

Barca are balancing their books this summer, leaving them unable to pursue a transfer for Raphinha despite his desire to join the La Liga giants.

According to The Athletic, Arsenal and Tottenham are looking to pounce on Barca’s economic frailties.

Mikel Arteta wants to sign a new winger this summer, although Raphinha plays on the same preferred side as Bukayo Saka.

Spurs boss Antonio Conte is keen to find a play who can fire across his front-line, with Everton star Richarlison targeted.

Conte will have to choose between the two Brazilians as Spurs will not buy both.

Leed are demanding at least £47m for the 26-year-old.

Chelsea were linked with Raphinha but have moved to distance themselves from a move.
